Garden Learning Series.. Learn to grow with me.
For starters, let me begin by saying, I am no professional and everything I have learned has been purely self taught and, or inbred in me. I attend "YouTube University" on a daily basis. LOL.. I have a handful of YouTube favorites I watch on a regular basis. I come from a family of farmers. We always had a family garden filled with all kinds of vegetables for most of the year. Certain times of the year was the summer favorite, Watermelons! My fondest memory is the sugar cane my grandfather use to grow for us kids as a treat. It was so sweet. But the Peaches! Those SWEET Peaches were my absolute favorite! There's absolutely nothing like a fresh picked Georgia Peach! Straight from the tree, in fresh churned ice cream, gosh pies and cobblers too! Any old way really.. Golly, those were the good old days!!
I’m hoping to pass some of my passions and skills in life, down to my kids and grand kids. Great grands if I live that long. I want to start a Garden Series where you can follow along with me as I learn how to grow things for the first time in my life! Ya’ll I’m excited! Hope to get the grandbabies involved. Won’t that be fun?!!
They get so excited to help when I’m in the garden area. We find all kinds of bugs and insects for them to learn about. There’s no telling what’s lurking around in the garden so…… I purchased some gardening gloves for the grandkids tiny little, delicate hands. Posting the link below if you’d like to purchase some as well.
With that being said, I’m not a professional, merely a student. So if you’re interested in learning with me, I’d love to have you along, as I learn what it really takes to grow my own food. I won’t edit my mistakes. That’s the whole process of learning... So come along with me and let’s see what we can see... 123...
